About Kobonaija

Kobonaija exists for one reason: to help people in Nigeria understand Bitcoin before they put a single naira into it.

I have been trading crypto for 10 years. In that time I have seen the same mistakes again and again — buying on hype, trusting strangers in P2P chats, keeping everything on one exchange, and not knowing how to get money back out. Most of the guides I found were either written by exchanges promoting themselves or were years out of date.

So this site does three things:

• Explains how things work, not just which buttons to press, so the guides stay useful even when apps change.
• Keeps guides current. Every guide shows the date it was last checked.
• Puts safety first. We cover scams and risks as carefully as we cover how to buy.

What we will never do

Predict prices, promise profits, or tell you what to buy.
